my spare shop is ever so slowly filling with my creations. i love making items for children, but i must say that it feels wonderful to work on the things that started me on this adventure.

currently in kat's belfry you can find market bags, patchie totes, giant zippered pouches, & drink slings!



i love making drink slings, they are my favorite. there will be more of these in the months to come; with smaller ones for sale in theshop.

speaking of kats in the belfry, there are new bags there as well.

this damask one is especially cute. like their larger sisters, these bags have mismatched handles.

i made this little bag eons ago, for a waldorf faire. such a sweet little bag, perfect for treasure-gathering, or toting snacks. sadly, it didn't sell, so i packed it away, then forgot about it.

i wonder if people were put off by the crease that runs down the center. personally, i find it amusing. this bag used to be a pant leg, you see. specifically a pair owned by manlyman, & we all know he is quite gifted with an iron.

perhaps i'll make a few more for my other shop. assuming i first find the time to photograph the basket of items waiting to be listed. why is there never enough time?

so what about you? have you found anything long since forgotten? any treasures you want to show the rest of us?

show & tell

i'm sorry to make you wait so long for photos - it's been a long, & tiring week. so, as i said in my previous post, the show was a huge success.

here are some market bags, & drink slings. the blue patterned sling is now available in theshop.

we were a bit crowded for space this show, but the crowds didn't seem put off by the jumble.

the mini mushroom sets, & the pixie knitting kits sold better than i'd hoped!

all but 2 of the lunch kits sold, which thrilled me to no end. can you guess who was the first to go?

there was a freezing wind that lasted all day, but it didn't keep the people away, & everyone was in good spirits. happy sellers & happy customers can make almost any weather tolerable. i'm not yet warm though. i may never be.
